Goals:

  • Goal 1 – To explore and critically analyse emerging digital technologies and pedagogies, identifying their potential to enhance inclusion, differentiation, and engagement in my professional context.

  • Goal 2 – To strengthen my academic research skills, particularly in critically reading, applying frameworks, and referencing peer-reviewed literature, in order to build rigorous and evidence-informed assessments.

  • Goal 3 – To apply theoretical models such as learning ecosystems, ACID-Do, and digital frameworks (e.g., SAMR, UDL) to evaluate how technologies can transform teaching and learning practices in my school context.

  • Goal 4 – To develop skills in multimodal communication by designing a digital artefact that demonstrates leadership, contextual application, and the impact of technology on learning.

  • Goal 5 – To deepen collaboration with peers through learning networks, sharing insights and perspectives on digital pedagogy that will support my growth as an inclusive and relational leader.

Linking Statement

These goals align with my broader Course Learning Plan by equipping me with the skills to lead innovation and change in inclusive education using digital technologies. They support my professional aspiration to progress into leadership roles, where I will be responsible for embedding technology-enhanced learning strategies that are inclusive, sustainable, and aligned with school improvement priorities.

This subject builds directly on my previous learning by moving from strategic and innovative leadership approaches to a focus on digital pedagogy and technologies. It allows me to test and apply ideas in real time within my professional context, building a stronger foundation for leading digital change across a school setting.
