Goal 1 - is to deeply understand contemporary leadership and innovation models in education to enhance school
culture.
Goal 2 - is to identify and analyse opportunities for innovation within my school context, focusing on inclusion and
student engagement.
Goal 3 - is to lead and implement a change initiative that addresses a specific need, such as improving inclusion
practices.

Linking Statement: These goals align with my Professional Context Statement as an Inclusion Teacher striving to
transition into leadership, focusing on driving change through innovation. They also reflect my Course Learning
Goals, which aim to equip me with the skills to lead inclusive and innovative practices. This subject builds on
previous studies in Inclusive Education, deepening my ability to apply leadership theories in practice. By focusing
on evidence-based evaluation and collaboration, I am progressing towards becoming a proactive leader and
eventual principal, ready to foster sustainable, positive change in schools.
Wrapping up: Through 014226 - Leading Innovative Practices, I developed the skills to identify opportunity spaces,
design innovative solutions, and implement initiatives that address specific needs, such as improving staff morale
and engagement. This course pushed me to think critically about the barriers to change, foster collaboration with stakeholders, and use iterative methodologies like design thinking to create impactful and practical outcomes.
